However, the potential exists for much more dramatic changes – e.g. smods would work brilliantly on the Workshop, and those are the vast majority of mods being released anyway. Where I do see potential issues, though, is in the nature of the Stonehearth mods themselves. I’ve seen many games with a large pre-steam community make use of the Workshop without it fracturing their player base or mod community so in that regard I don’t see a downside in including workshop support. ![]() The Steam workshop is, generally speaking, a great infrastructure for mod hosting.
